Phnom Penh is located in the south-central region of Cambodia, at the confluence of the Tonlé Sap and Mekong rivers. The city is located at 11.55° N 104.91667° E (11°33′ North, 104°55′ East).
The climate is hot year-round with only minor variations. There are three basic seasons: the cool season from roughly November to January, the hot season from roughly February through May and the rainy season from roughly June through October.

Siem Reap is accessible by direct flight from Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hong Kong, Seoul-Incheon, Pusan, Kunming, Kaohsiung and Taipei, and by land from Phnom Penh and the Thai border. It’s also accessible by boat from Phnom Penh.
