It’s our last night in Siem Reap and it’s difficult to leave. My husband planned this trip for my 40th birthday and this is both our first trip to Cambodia. We will definitely come back hopefully with the kids next time and tell all our friends and family how cool this trip has been – from the amazing temples to the friendliest of people. We recommend Raffles of course where we got top service, the Sokha helicopter tour (we had the clearest skies this morning – ask our pilot Ed:=), the Sawasdee restaurant where we had our best Thai food in 3 years! Last and definitely not the least, we recommend our driver Supheap (sp?) and our guide Sum Suphon.

Congratulations on the e-visa, but… more and more people start using this easy and customer friendly system, and when you arrive at Siem Reap airport, only 1 (one) immigration booth treats the e-visa application, with as result that it now takes as long, if not longer, as just buying your visa upon arrival. Are you going to put more immigrations booths in service for this type of visa ? Thanks and kind regards, Christian de Winter

I am SO impressed with the ease of your e-Visa process.
If this is an indication of how pleasant our trip to Cambodia will be, I am really looking forward to the actual trip. I would modt definately recommend your e-Visa to friends traveling to Cambodia. Thank you for making the preparation so easy.

And what happen at the taxi counter is even worst!!!!!!!!!taxi trying to take you to different hotel and being very agressifs!

We have been impressed by the efficient e-visa handling on arrival. The instructions were clear and correct and the immigration counter was clearly indicated with the e-visa sign. I suggest to all visitors to apply for the visa before arrival, as the queues at the visa desk were long.

The E-visa queue took longer than the queues for travellers with no visa. I was on an organised tour, the only one of 11 passengers with an E-visa, and I was the last person processed. E-visa costs $5USD more and gives a slower service.

Arrived in Phnom Penh from Bangkok with e-visa. Only 5 out of 60 passengers had e-visa, rest had to queue for obtaining their visa at separate counter before proceeding to immigration desk. Therefore, no queue at immigration desk for us. Went through in less than 5 minutes. Officer kept both my e-visa print outs (should have returned one of them) which I had to explain when leaving the country

The e-visa application worked perfectly, the e-visa line was short and the officer unnecessarily unfriendly. However, DO NOT LOOSE YOUR PASSPORT (OR HAVE IT STOLEN!) A new exit-visa will cost you $40 with no receipt offered. It may cost you twice that if you want to have it quickly. Unfortunate habits!

I loved that I didn’t have to waste a day heading into D.C. to apply for a visa at the Cambodian embassy. This was fast and easy! Now if you could speed up the people working at the Siem Reap airport…

E-Visa system works well. The highlight of our trip was definately the wonderful people of Cambodia, without doubt the most beautiful people on the planet. The car we hired for a couple of days was cheap and the driver, Kim Sann, was extremely helpful and knowlegable, we would recomend him to anyone who goes there. The Angkor Hotel was perfect, great prices and service and excellent staff. We travel a lot but Cambodia is now my favorite place on earth…..Thank you Cambodia we love you.

The system worked perfectly for my travel to your wonderful country. My application online was processed INSTANTLY and arrival at REP airport was extremely efficient and well-marked. The immigration official at the counter was very courteous. Leaving from PNH was also very efficient but a sign would be helpful to direct you to the e-Visa counter. Another suggestion is to reassure applicants that the website is secure for the credit card transaction if they use Paypal. Thank you very much.

I would recommend the e-Visa to all travellers to Cambodia.
It was so easy to fill out the application and we received an approval within an hour.
Upon arrival to Siem Reap international airport we bypassed the big queues and went straight for the e-Visa queue and were out collecting our bags whilst everyone else stayed behind filling in visa application forms!
The last thing I want to do when I land in a new country is hang around the airport, e-Visa avoids this and simplifies entry!

The e-visa system is excellent – efficient, quick and secure to use. The officials at my point of entry at Phnom Penh airport were very helpful, and the whole entry process took about 5 minutes.
The Cambodian people are fantastic – everyone should visit this country!

Thanks – the system is excellent. One small suggestion is that the ‘expiry date’ of the visa is not clear. On first reading I thought my visa was dated too far ahead – I started counting back 30 days from the expiry date and thought there was a problem. When I checked your FAQ page I discovered it means the visa is valid up 30 days after the date of entry – provided the entry is made before the expiry date. I hope I understand this correctly!

The on-line, e-visa application is the best! Fast, easy and I didn’t have to let my passport (at great expense) out of hands. My one complaint was that upon landing in Cambodia, several of us stood in the e-visa line in the airport when the man behind the counter up and left. No explanation to us whether we should continue waiting in that line or if he was returning. So we waited while other visitors breezed through the line. Finally we guessed that no one was coming back to help us so we got into other lines. This was very unnerving and did not give a very good first impression of Cambodia. I think we expected the on-the-ground process to be as wonderful and easy as the on-line process. The rest of our stay in Cambodia was very memorable and the people are so friendly and helpful and kind. I was impressed with how Cambodia is addressing tourism. BEst of luck to all.

The e-visa system is a fast, efficient and easy way to enter Cambodia. It made entry at the airport in Phnom Penh very fast and I would highly recommend this to fellow travelers visiting the country.
As a business traveler visiting Cambodia 6-10 times a year from various countries I would like to have an oportunity to get multiple entry visas for 6 month and one year which would make business environment in Cambodia more friendly.

e-visa is the only way to go ! Immigation officers at Popiet were well trained to process it and it went very smoothly. I wih other countries will follow this initiative.
Suggestion: The site should me more rugged because it fails sometimes to get you through the whole process and you need to start all over again.

the eVisa is both very convinient and effective – and a fantastic welcome to people travelling to Cambodia.
Makes you feel wanted, rather than unwanted (as in queueing in embassies for hours on end). Also taking advantage of the newest mainline technologies makes total sense (apply online, jpeg photos, paypal payment and pdf delivery) fast, efficient, cheap and reliable.

Though the e-visa application was fast, easy, & quick. I found at the Siem Reap airport that I still had to go through getting my picture taken and getting tons of stamps. I thought the e-visa would eliminate some of this. Other than that, it was fine.

Hi,
I have been trying to pay for the visa with paypal for a week with no success so far. First it forced me to register, then it said I have to enroll for the extended program, which took another 4 days to verify my bank account and $1.95, and now it says “This payment cannot be funded with a credit card at this time.”
Please let me know if there is anyway we can avoid using Paypal to complete the payment. Thanks.

The application process was so straight forward and I was amazed to see he visas emailed through to me but 12 hours later. No that’s what I call great customer service.
The e-visa made travelling through the border at Poipet so easy although what also helped was that we travelled from the Thai side just after the border opened in the morning.
Anyway, I would definitely recommend anyone travelling to Cambodia to use the e-visa service. Top marks!!

The e-visa is easy and saves time waiting in a big line at the airport. However, Cambodia should start accepting credit cards directly and not relying only on paypal, since this can be burdensome for those who are not members of paypal.
