Quick and so very easy to use. The VISA was printed out and ready to go within 24 hrs – fantastic. If only every country I wanted to visit did it this way!!!!

Worked well for my wife and me. Highly recommended.
Saved many USD compared to using a visa service and saved a lot of anxiety over sending passport. Also saved a lot of time as there were many visa applicants the day we arrived at Siem Reap.

Dear Sir, It was fantastic to use your e-visa service for me and my wife.
I have one comment. As Serbian citizen, on both country lists on your visa application site, I did not find the name of my country. On one was Yugoslavia, which does not exist for the last six years. As I have double citizenship, I had to use my Norwegian passport. Old Yugoslavia has been separated into six countries: Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia/Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia. Kindly put the names of these countries so that people can use your e-visa possibility. Please contact me if you have some questions.
Best regards,

Very convenient and reassuring to have the visa in hand. I’d had trouble formating our photos, but submitting them to this service got them back within a day. I’d read that a second copy of the visa would be necessary at departure, but it wasn’t requested. Excellent service.

Very fast and easy – although the cost should be a little cheaper than 25 USD – the tourist visa at the border costs only 20 USD. So we pay five dollars only to be a little faster???

In Siem Reap, there were 8 Immigration officers working the flight we arrived on. Only 1 handled eVisas. Those who applied for paper visas paid $5 less than I did and still made it through faster than most of the people with eVisas. Next time, I will skip the eVisa!

This is my second visit to the beautiful and friendly country of Cambodia. I completed my visa application at Phnom Penh airport and handed in a passport-sized photo. The immigration officials were friendly and it was quite speedy. The e-visa arrived back in less than 6 hours! I will take 2 copies to the airport this time. It will save the hassle of handing over $20 and digging a photo out of my passport wallet. Like others said, I wish all countries would offer such a service.

Fantastic speedy service. I had my visa back within hours after applying online. It took 5 mins at the counter in Siem Reap to go through customs while other tourists had to wait for service. More countries should follow suit – it was painless. Thanks for great service in a great small country.

The eVisa-System is a great simplification for obtaining a visum (except asbandoning it).
I give my recognition to the developers of this system and those who have accepted to realize it.

The e-visa process was very simple and fast. My application was approved and my visa e-mailed to me in only about two hours time. All visa applications should be like this!!!

Cambodia evisa was fast (I got mine five minutes after finishing the form) and easy. I really appreciate that Cambodia makes things simple for tourists.

The entry process was very easy, but I was confused when exiting the country because of the US$25 exit tax– I thought the e-visa was all I needed to exit the coutnry, but the airport personnel said that an additional US$25 must be paid for each person in order to leave the country.

The application process was speedy and efficient – don’t know why we had to have two ID’s as the photo ID was not taken when we left the country.
The people are beautiful and peaceful, the country unique. Its a pity about the corruption.

e-visa should not cost more than on site visas; i wish multiple entries were possible as i entered Cambodia three times this trip.

This service was very handy. Great idea and use of technology. It saved us time and hassle to be able to apply for this online before arriving. Other countries should follow this example! Thank you Cambodia :o)

I truly enjoyed the e-visa experience, especially because it did not require me to forfiet my passport. Quick and easy. Wish it was multiple entries since Siem Reap is wonderful and I have only 3 days here. I want to return! Can I re-up online or extend?

BEWARE – If you plan to extend your e-visa, the immigration office require a COLOUR print of the full page even though B & W is acceptable according to the website. You may only know about this after you have submitted your passport and the visa office is happy to let the visa expire and to take $5 for every day after the expiry date. No receipts are given for overstay payments.

It took 1 business day to get the visa and 1 minute to clear customs at Phnom Penh. Seems like officials have figured it out. Far easier than Viet Nam or India that require you to leave your passports at the embassy.

very happy with evisa. only 24 hour turnaround and no problems at passport control in siem reap. my holiday in siem reap was fantastic. this was my second trip and i’m sure there will be a third. some advice is to see the temples but if you can save a couple of extra days relaxing and looking around siem reap town. the food and vibe are great and the people are very friendly and hospitable.

The e-Visa process is very simple and efficient. It is much better than having to go to an embassy personally or using a visa service and giving your passport to someone else or the Post Office.

well well, i am an Australian living in Thailand, went to Cambodia this morning (Poi Phet)and the immigritation people wouldnt accept my $20 US Dollar Note for the visa (they said “new law , only 1000 baht thai accepted here from now on”!!)What? I couldnt believe it, well paid the 1000baht ,not worth it arguing with them, ..I put a 1,000 baht bill on the table, told him I know it is 20 dollars and that 1,000 baht is a very good deal for him…Damn corrupt Cambodian border officials… should ‘ve applied for an e-visa, highly recommended people…Steve

furthermore, when they said its 1000baht from now on,NOT $20 US Dollar, they quickly displayed a temporary sign saying “tourist visa Thai 1000 baht ONLY!!”.After i refused at the beginning paying 1000baht they said “now its $20 US + thai baht 200″.How can you justify this! My advice is that if you don’t want a severe hassle get a visa before or an E visa,NOT at the border ,you will pay 1000baht up. E Visa will stop those crooks, they wont have a job anymore, steve…

Initially we were impressed with the evisa concept. But in practice it was a total waste of time. Driving into Cambodia at Poipet it took 1 hour of messing around with forms and pictures and another 300 Baht each to get in. Exiting at Cham Keam we were told we could only exit at Poipet (point of entry), and had to pay 500 Baht each to get out. Very disappointed. Aside from the roads which we did expect to be bad, the experience at both border crossings means we won’t be coming back again.

Excellent system, quick and efficient, although USD5 for administration, my understanding was internet systems decreased admin costs?
I would use it again, as you have a é channel’at the aiport too.

The e-visa service was efficient. However, it would be helpful if the exit tax could be paid on-line in advance before entering Cambodia, and a printable voucher given, or all the cost be loaded onto the entry visa and the exit tax scrapped. It would also have been helpful to book Angkor temple passes in advance on-line, in a similar manner to the e-visa.

WARNING: INDIAN EMBASSY IN PP DOES NOT ACCEPT CAMBODIAN E-VISAS.
When we tried to get a visa for India (our next destination) the embassy in Phnom Penh incorrectly said our Cambodian visa was invalid because we had no sticker in our passports. We will now have to cut our visit to this country short and go to Bangkok to try there. Very annoying.
So in short – if you want to visit the Indian Emabssy don’t get a Cambodian e-Visa.

Well done on creating such a simple and timesaving way to obtain a visa. One suggestion – should this not reduce the amount of bureaucracy once one arrives in Cambodia? We found the counter staff slow and humourless – unlike the rest of Cambodia’s population – and wonder whether this aspect of the visit could also be more efficient. That said, we had a wonderful time in your country and will tell all of our friends to visit!

Going through immigration at Siem Reap was very quick and easy compared to my previous visit to Siem Reap, where we had to wait for nearly an hour in a hot non- AC hall. The new terminal is very nice. US$25 exit charge is high compared to most Asian countries. Australia does charge a $5 admin charge too for their e-visa.

The evisa does not have positive effect on the immigration procedure, because all date are checked from the passport. The visa is a means to support the Cambodian state by a payment of 25$US. Normal tourist visa procedure like Thailand or Singapore doesn’t cost anything.

The e-visa was fast and reliable. I entered Cambodia in Siem Reap where they have a window for e-visa. The clearance was fast. You can also use paypal to pay online – another advantage.

E-VISA : The principle is fine and works BUT to get in Cambodia IS a problem if going in with your Thai wife! We had to pay 1000 baths for Visa (this is OK since required) BUT we had to GIVE the Cambodian Immigration OFFICER 200 baths for .. NO REASONS ! HE JUST ASKED FOR IT AND SAID MY WIFE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN IF WE WOULD NOT COMPLY! ONLY HAD 2 DAYS TRIP SO WE DID COMPLY!! CAN Cambodian GOV. DO SOMETHING about that ?!!

E-Visa is awesome. First we were not too sure to do it but when we arrived in Siem Reap it was just perceft and very handy. The whole plane had to get in line for entering the country and we just walked by and went right to the e-visa counter. We were at the baggage claim within ten minutes after disembarkation. Wonderful.
