This was the simplest, best way to get a visa I have ever encountered. Some other more developed countries would do well to follow Cambodia’s lead on this.

I don´t recommend this service. If you just bring a your photos to the airport you get a Visa on the spot, save US$ 5 and stay in the same long inefficient line with the rest of the e-Visas.

I found obtaining the visa online absolutely wonderful- quick and simple. Also when I arrived at Siem Reap, once I’d established which queue I should be in – it was a breeze. l left a queue of hordes (waiting to get a visa on arrival) and joined a queue of 1. How fantastic!! I wish other countries would make travellers lives easy too. Well Done!

I found to get the online visa is very smooth and easy. At arrival you can avoid to queue for long-long time, but be careful and carry 2 copies of it!

The eVisa was wonderful. We arrived at midnight at the eVisa saved us 20 minutes of waiting in line.
We loved our visit in Cambodia. What a wonderful country. Thank You.

Website is very easy to use, but why aren’t the forms submitted securely via SSL? I feel a bit uneasy about submitting detailed information from my passport in the clear, and with no definitive indication of the authenticity of the site owner.

Especially thank you Borom Uch from your eVisa section, he or she is a very efficient person and acting in excellent manner when I was asking questions about our approved evisa applications. Thank you Borom Uch. Thank you very much indeed.

I am simply amazed at how visitor friendly you have made your country by allowing issuance of e-visas with such a short turn around time. My family & I are excited & looking forward to our forthcoming trip to Angkor Wat.

This an amazingly efficient visa service. Congratulations to the Government introducing such an innovative, easy-to-use and tourist-friendly website. It sets a high standard for many other countries to follow, and it is most encouraging for a successful, fulfilling visit. Yes, I would certainly recommend E-Visa to others.

WOW!!! I never expected it to be this easy! It actually took longer to fill out the online information for six of us than it took to get our visas!!! We are looking forward to a great visit to your beautiful country!

Getting the e-visa was very quick.. within 24hrs, however when we arrived in Siem Reap airport it was a total waste of time and did not speed us through any quicker than those who had to actually get their visa at the airport…in fact some of them got through quicker than us…here’s what happened.
We looked for the E-visa lineup and found there was no passport
official there although a few people were waiting for one to appear. After a few minutes, another official then told us to get into the “regular” lineups which by now had both got quite big. After another 5 minutes they decided to open up E-visa and now we all moved back to that line-up. Now our single E-visa line moved miserably slow and the agent was equally as miserable..It was so slow that not only people from the 2 regular lineups were getting through at 4 times the speed but most of those people who had got their visa at the airport got through before us. Finally after 20 minutes they decided to put another person on the E-visa and we finally got through. It took 30 minutes of waiting. A major improvement is necessary at the Siem Reap airport with regards to this otherwise getting your E-visa online is a waste of time (if the idea is to save you time through passport control) Also the
departure tax when you leave is another hassle…US$25 each.

I definitely recommend getting this e-Visa before you go. It’s fast, simple and one less thing to worry about. Not to mention the time you save at the airport when you arrive. Instead of lining up like everyone else and filling in the form for the visa, I went right to the immigration desk and it took only seconds for them to confirm my e-Visa and I was on my way and taking my first step into Cambodia!

A good system, fast and reliable, no problem entering at Phnom-Penh airport. Saved me a trip to the Cambodian embassy in Paris (I don’t fancy the idea of waiting in line to get the visa on arrival).
Time in Cambodia great…

I loved using the e-Visa! It made my trip so easy! And the fact that you had a passport line dedicated to e-Visa customers was brilliant. This is my second trip to Cambodia in four years, and e-Visa made all the difference in the world!

I enjoyed my stay in Phnom Penh very much, however why more people aren’t killed in the traffic on a daily basis I can’t imagine.

Nice with a e-visa BUT you still have to fill out these forms by HAND and with the exact same information (name, birthday, address, passport number, country, etc.):
1) arrival card
2) departure card
3) customs clearance form
Since the e-visa site already has all these informations it you be great if at least you could preprint these forms and have them ready in the airport.

I was really impressed by the e-visa system. It did sometimes take a while to load the page on my otherwise very efficient computer but once I applied the e-visa came back really quickly. Other countries would do well do follow your example. Getting in and out of Cambodia was also quick and easy. I was really impressed when I had an email from you welcoming me to Cambodia within a day of our arrival. Thank you.

Impressed by the service up to arrival in Siem Reap, where the officials took forever to process the entry and getting the visa on the spot was not only 5USD cheaper, but also took not more time. Also you could let print the visitor entry-, departure- and customs cards with the data you have already.

when applying for e-visa I was very impressed about the efficient way to obtain a visum for Cambodia. But at Siem Reap I was disappointed because 2 additional forms had to be filled in with mainly all the information which was given already in the visum application. Also I do not understand why e-visa cost 5 Dollars more than the normal one. When leaving Cambodia an extra of 20 Dollars had to be payed!
Thus the good first impression of e-visa was spoiled a little bit.

It’s a great experiense to use e-Visa, only spent 15 minutes to get it after regristration. And when I apply for an amendment(since I found the passport number I provided was wrong), it was responded immediatelly. Thanks for your efficient work.

Went through immigration both ways without hitch
Stayed at Grand Hotel Siem Riep. Lovely old Hotel with nice air conditioned redone rooms. Beautiful pool. You must take TUK Tuk ride. 2 bucks for 2 people for about 3 miles.

It’s nice. But you can improve the service by automatic copy tourists information then print them on the arrival/departure card and the customs clearance form to send to tourists’ email. So the tourists can only print the forms and bring them to immigration, no need to write again.

Applied for a visa for my husband and I on a Sunday afternoon, and awoke early Monday morning to find the visas in my inbox! Very efficient application system. I wish all governments that issue visas would follow suit. I didn’t have to send my passport off and then worry about it getting lost in the mail. Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about the e-visa scheme.
Its very good value for money,
It takes only a few moments of your time to fill out the form,
and having already got passport photos of me in digital form on my computer, it was real easy.
The whole e-visa experience was a piece of cake.
I only wish all countries would offer this service.

I found e-visa to be a big joke. It took 45 minutes to go thru the 1 e-visa lane a siem reap airport. Those with regular visas had a choice of 5 lanes. You need more e-visa lanes!!!!

e-Visa is a great system, it’s bit unfair that you have to pay another 25$ when leaving the country. Nobody tells you about this upon arrival… anyway….cambodia is great!

I didn’t have any problems upon arrival at the border crossing with Vietnam.
Yes there was only 1 lane for e-visa’s but as most had real passport visa’s I went through in record time, and then had a comedy moment as I scanned my own backpack as there was no customs guards!
I also never paid anything extra upon leaving Cambodia across the Thai boarder.
Here’s a tip though, all the people in my group had to pay 1 US Dollar as they didn’t have proof of any medical inoculations and malaria tablets. By a piece of good luck, I did have my medical card with up to date info on what medical precautions I’d taken, and so avoided paying out and spending more time form filling at the boarder. Its only a dollar but if you have some kinda proof that your jabs are up to date then you’ll speed up the process.
That said; Cambodia’s worth all the form filling in the world. It’s a truly magical place.
