A brilliant system and Cambodia is surely leading the way. The site was easy to use, the extra Help was great, and I was the first through Immigration on arrival. Hopefully I’ll return to Cambodia and I’ll definitely use the eVisa system again.

This is the best visa service EVER!! So fast and easy, and saved lots of time at home and at the Cambodian border. Why aren’t other countries adopting this E-visa method?? Cambodia itself was brlliant.

The e-visa system was so convinient. I could use the system and check the process any time (also late at night). I think it will become more useful for visitors if the information by e-mail are written in their language.

When i got to knew the information about e-visa, i could not believe in such simple and convenient procedures. I tried, however, with my hesitation still in mind. I emailed my orginal photo to the editor team and they replied to me within just 3 hrs. I applied then and all the procedures are simple and very easy to follow. I received the confirmation in the afternoon. It only took me several hours to have the approved e-visa and the cost is much cheaper than going to consulate. I have already recommended e-visa to my friends and they would also apply using this modern and friendly way.
I am looing forward to seeing Angkor with my own eyss.

The e visa was really simple to arrange. I will use it again. Especially to avoid being scammed by the border officials like my boyfriend was. There was no evisa line at immigration though. The guy took so long to process the evisa that I was being passed by in the queue by people with the regular visa.

I got a good experience with the Cambodian e-visa. I just paid by Paypal, which is a very safe way for making payments, filled the form required, etc. When I crossed the border through Moc Bai I just handed over the printed form to the immigration officer and that was all. Next time I will apply the e-visa again.

The e-Visa is a good system. However, I don’t like the idea of paying five dollars more by getting it ahead of time than on-the-spot. I think the e-Visa should be priced lower than a physical visa purchased at the border because it will reward visitors for planning to come ahead of time.

I recieved my evisa today through my email and I thought that is was so awesome. Thanks so much for making our travel so easy. I do have one question, I recieved my visa and it said that I had only one entry into Cambodia and I actually need two. We are arriving on the 23rd Of June 2008 and staying thru the 30th. On the 30th we are going to Vietnam and we will be in Vietnam thru the 5th of July 2008. On the 5th we will be flying back to Phnom Penh and then on the 6th of July 2008 we will be leaving Cambodia and heading back to the United States. What should I do so I can get another entry into your country. Should I just apply for another evisa just like I did for this one? Thank you so much for all of your help and your great response. We are looking forward to visiting your coutry and can’t wait. Thank you again,

The electronic Cambodia visa was great. The whole process was very easy. Filling our the application took about 15 minutes, and the visa came into my mailbox in less than 2 hours. It could not get better than this. I loved it!

It’s great to apply it via the internet. Just upload a casual photo and pay by credit card, you could have your visa within several hours. Highly Recommended!

Although I found the evisa system to be extremely quick, reliable, and efficient, the process of checking in was worse for me than for those that had not bothered to get a visa in advance. When I arrived in Cambodia, I got in the line for evisa’s, while my other friends who did not have visas got into another. They actually made it through before I did because 8 of the 9 counters were open for people who did not have evisas.

Quick and efficient! Also very helpful staff who replied immediatly when I asked about my photos (they’d even kindly cropped it for me when they sent it back)
I cant believe other countries don’t use this efficient method.
It did take a while to get through immegration – but not the fault of my e-visa (just picked a busy period!)

Hi There, we (two of us – me and my colleague Mani) applied for e-VISA 2 days before our plan to go there. We were surprised to learn that the VISA hit our mailbox within less than two hours from the time of application. This was amazing. No hassles. All you need to do is to know your port of entry, itenirary, dates, details, pay online, upload a recent proper photo and that’s it. Cambodia is a friendly country, but beware, roads are too bad (from border to city). Better to go by flight. USD is most preferred currency. Guide is a must. Avoid going in rain.

I have just returned from Siem Reap. I highly recommend it as must visit on any visit. The Angkor Wat area is fabulous!!!! I also recommned a privtae tour guide and a private car as well…fairly inexpensive.
The e-visa is a very useful tool in just a few days you recieve your visa via email and then you can avoid the ques.

The process of applying for the e-visa online was quick and easy. However, as noted by several people here already, there is only one immigration counter (out of about eight) at Siem Reap airport that processes e-visas. This means that people who apply for visas on arrival (which takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on the queue) can quickly go through any of the remaining counters. I ended up coming out last and US$5 poorer than if I had applied for the visa on arrival. Perhaps the Cambodian authorities can consider processing e-visas at all counters? This would certainly make applying for e-visas more worthwhile.

My gilfriend and I applied for the e-visa and were issured it in two hours. Great! We left BKK on a bus to the Poi Phet crossing. After getting our exit stamp from Thailand which was no worries, just all the umbrella kids and white shirt scam artist with fake ID’s. We were waved in by an immigration officer(real uniform)to a small room with one table(and all the white shirt”helpers” waited outside. He wanted our passports,we handed them over with the e-visa’s in them. He said good you have your visa’s now you need to get your stamps right? We said right. He said they are 500 Baht for 1 stamp and you both need one so 1,000 Baht now. After 5 minutes of saying I know you do not have to pay for entry stamps for Cambodia he finally gave up in disgust and rudely gave our passports back and told us to get out. Then we walk 200 meters and found the correct Cambodia immigration area for entry stamps(which is after the diamond casino). Along the way their are also fake “nurses”(in official looking uniforms) to issue you a fake health card if you fall for it. So the e-visa was great, fast and probably did save us some money, the problem was the immigration officials that work the scams with the white shirt “helpers”. There needs to be signs pointing the way to the correct immigration offices. Good luck folks!

I used e-visa with great results. I got the visa within hours, if the times on the email were correct. I crossed at the border to Poipet and it went incredibly smoothly – and I had heard horror stories about the visa office there. So I was able to skip it and go straight to arrivals. Now if only the transportation situation from Poipet to SR could get sorted out – that was a bit of a nightmare…Thanks for having the e-visa service I would definitely use it again.

Congratulations Cambodia, all countries should adopt your easy system. I was recommended by a colleague and found it quick and easy – a visa in 2 hours. The only slight delay was Paypal – I thought I had an account with them, but it turns out I didn\’t. At Phnom Penh airport it was quicker than queuing for a visa on arrival, but an e-visa special counter would have been even quicker.
I’m surprised to hear that e-visa is more expensive – a lower price would encourage more people to use it.

Fantastic service! I wish other countries would have such a service. We received the visas within an hour. It saved us so much time – and the fact that we could take the pictures with our own camera saved time and hassle too. Thanks again.
