Incredible! Cambodia’s e-Visa process is efficient, expedient, and secure. This is the best visa system I have experienced, and I wish more countries will adopt it soon.
Thanks for your fast response.

Was really easy to fill out except that now I have the visa there is an error in the passport number – and the link to contact the “support team” doesn’t work – so now I am stuck with a useless visa. otherwise all would be great…

Exceptionally easy and efficient – can’t believe other ‘more forward’ countries haven’t got this. Wouldn’t travelling be so much easier?

Q : What do you think about the online application and customer service?
A : Easy,convenian and excellent service.
Q : Were you satisfied with the service during the e-Visa immigration clearance process?
A : Not really satisfied.I was waiting for 15 mins for the lady infront of me to pass the immigration while my processing be completed in few mins.I think you should have one counter for e-visa only to make e-visa holder more comfortable.
Q : Would you recommend e-Visa to your family and friends?
A : I certainly would do.
Q : Would you recommend Cambodia as a travel destination to your family and friends?
A : Yes,I would.
Q : Do you have any suggestion to help us improve?
A : At the airport, you should have one counter for e-visa only to make e-visa holder more comfortable.People apply for e-visa coz they don’t want to waste their time on waiting for visa-on-arrival.So I need express lane.

I found the e-Visa extremely efficient and promising. I have just returned from Siem Reap, and can confirm that all counters (despite only one labelled “e-Visa”) process them. I too wasn’t up for waiting in line.
I definitely recommend e-Visa for fiends, family and interested people, as well as Cambodia for an amazing experience.
Keep up the top work.

The application for e-Visa to Cambodia is a fast and efficient way. It only takes less than a day to obtain our visa. You don’t need travel agent to do it for you. It saves you a lot of time.

An amazingly efficient process. We submitted our applications 10.30 pm in the evening and the approval came back the next morning. Many thanks – why cannot other countries do the same?

The e-visa process is fabulous. It was very quick, easy, and efficient. My only complaint is that Cambodia charges both $25 for the visa and a $25 departure tax (for adults), which is a bit much. I really like the system, though.

Excellent system with fast and efficient service! This is a system which other countries particularly developed ones need to adopt.
Keep up the good work!

Obtaining the evisa was so quick and efficient! It was far better than waiting days for one since the nearest embassy is in DC for me.
However, when we got to Cambodia, there was no line for the evisas and everyone there seemed confused by it. I was told to go to “that line” or “ask him” and finally gave up and just stood in a line with others. Once at the agent, he didn’t know what to do with my evisa and asked for a real visa.
Eventually he figured it out and let me through after yelling at me for a bit for not having copies of my visa. I still would go through the evisa since it makes it much easier to obtain one. I’m hoping that by the next time i go back to Cambodia, the evisa program will be better.

Good and congratulations. The E-visa system of Cambodia is fast and efficient. I could comfortably get my visa through net sitting in my office and I had no problem in Siem Reap immigration. I think many other countries can learn to introduce this system. I plan my next visit to Cambodia with my family. Bye

I got my e-visa approved within 24 hours of completing my application. The immigration process at the Poipet border was hassle free. The officer took a minute to check my visa on his computer and I was through in an instant. Exiting the border at Bavet was equally simple.
I had a great time in Cambodia and will come back for sure. The e-visa system is great and I wish other countries adopted something similar to this.

Hi, Yesterday I used the e-visa to enter Cambodia at POI PET. No problem and I save same money, because if I want to make visa at the border, they don`t want 20 US$(640THB) , they want 1000 THB ! Nice pocketmoney for the curupted staff.. And I only got a small stamp e-visa with number in my passport, not an one site size VISA-Sticker ! So absolutly positiv.. Not really satisfied about e-Visa:
- more expensive
- much slower if you enter by Siem Reap Airport

It is not necessary to do visa application in an airport, and the other countries which are convenience think that there should be a similar system very much.

e-visa facility is fantastic. I got the e-visas for me and my family on the net in less than hour after the submission. It is such an ease for everybody and many other countries who allow for visa on arrival should take a cue from Camodian Immigration Dept. so that they can save the hassles for the people as well as lessen the burden on their administrative system.
We had a nice trip to and stay in Siem Reap and would definitely recommend Cambodia as a travel destination to all our friends and relatives.

I have had a very positive experience with the e visa application with the online Cambodian visa agency. It was easy and quick. The customer service also helped me resize/crop the picture I submitted. The online customer service was very good. I regret to say that my experience with other Asian countries that require visa fell short comparing to Cambodia e visa application. Most of them are expensive and sometimes unfriendly. One embassy has short office hours and require people to get off work and stand in line before the office opens. Cambodia is doing a good job promoting tourism by making visa application easy. I will recommend e visa to people. I had a great time visiting Angkor Wat. Cambodian people are very, very nice. I will recommend this trip to others. It was sad to see the destruction of the civil war. I am hoping that Cambodia will recover soon, and I am sure it will. Cambodians work are working hard toward this goal.

My comments on the e-visa are only positive one. The existence of the e-visa did not influence my trip to Cambodia but the fact that it does exist surely make my trip a more pleasant one.
The application online is quite straight forward and I think everybody can manage it. What I appreciate is that we got the response very fast, no website hanging. We just have to print two copies, and thanks we don’t have to do it in color. Not all of us have color printer.
The price of the e-visa is reasonable (same price as the outbound airport taxes which we have to pay when leaving Cambodia -in fact rather expensive one).
I have already used this facility twice and will keep doing so. To have your visa at hand, with no need to go to an embassy is really worth. Many of my friends were not aware of this facilities. You may wish to promote it better.

It is indeed a pleasure to write this comment. Your instructions are easy to follow, and very clear. I was amazed as to how fast i received the e-Visa certificate. Wow!! It would make travelling more enticing if more countries followed your example. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to visit Cambodia.

Although the process of obtining an e-visa was very simple and easy, I found that having an e-visa was virtually a waste of time, at least at Siem Reap airport. There was only one line for e-visas and four lines for regular visas at immigration. People without an e-visa were able to que through the visa line and then through immigration while the rest of us waited in line with our e-visa. The immigration officials even joked about our e-visas being so slow. Every single person without an e-visa got through immigration before the few of us with an e-visa got through. Perhaps it is different at Phnom Phen or other border crossings but if you are going to Siem Reap, save yourself time and $5 and get your visa when you arrive. I arrived at Siem Reap on 9 June 2008.

Absolutely appalled once again by the authorities on the Pio Pet Border. I have a work permit for Thailand but my wife and daughter are on Non O visas. They unfortunately need to leave every three months. Usually we use it as a weekend break and fly somewhere but on this occasion we decided they would travel to Poipet to do a crossing. My daughter is 3 years old. My wife applied for a e-visa and was issued with one. On the border this morning the authorities ‘refused to let her in and were quite rude about it unless she paid 1,000 baht for our 3 year old. My wife almost in tears had to bow to this pressure and pay even though it states that children under 12 accompanied by parents do not require a visa. I am horrified to think that the Cambodian police can get away with such behvaiour. i will be taking the matter further and before some of you say “go with the flow this is Asia” It isn’t about the 1,000 baht. It’s the fact that these people who are representatives of their country can so blatantly misuse and abuse their power, especially on innocent women and children. I would appreciate it if these comments are passed up the line to somebody, if not I will pursue it directly with the authorities. my company takes several thousand tourists into Siem Reap each year and I wonder if they deserve the income we generate.

E-visa is fast and convenient. The Siam Reap airport tax, USD20, is too expensive compared other SE Asian coutries, considering virtually no services exist at the airport (free use of toilet is the only thing I can remember).

I found applying for and receiving the visa most impressive. I blogged about it here: http://chrishansenhome.livejournal.com/399030.html and you’re welcome to post a link to my blog entry if you like. I’m travelling next week and am looking forward to my visit to Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. Thanks for making the visa application so painless. (P.S. You might want to get your programmers to “protect” text from the program. There is an apostrophe in my address and the website mistook that for some website code rather than part of my address. I’m a software tester so bugs tend to jump out at me. It wasn’t major.)

The Cambodia e-Visa project was in a Court Case now in Malaysia. Please do not apply e-Visa now. You can apply Visa On-arrival easily with lower cost USD20 at both Siem Reap and Phnom Penh airports.

Since I visit Cambodia a couple of times a year, it would be great if I could store my information on the site (including photo) so I don’t have to start the application over each time. Is this possible or would you consider adding this feature?
