Ambassade du Cambodge en France

France and Cambodia maintain a profound political dialogue marked by frequent high-level contacts. King Sihamoni made a State visit to France from 20 to 22 November 2006. In September 2005, Prime Minister Hun Sen made an official visit to France, during which the Framework Partnership Document (FPD) was signed, defining the major directions of our cooperation for the period 2006-2010. Assembly presidents, foreign affairs ministers (visit of Mr. Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister in January 2005, visit of Mr. Renaud Muselier, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, in January 2003), and ministers delegate for cooperation and francophony (visits of Mr. Wiltzer in February 2004 and Mr. Darcos in December 2004) have also made notable visits. With regard to the technical ministries, Mr. Léon Bertrand, Minister Delegate for Tourism, visited Cambodia in July 2004 (signing of a bilateral cooperation agreement on tourism) and Mr. Dominique Perben, Minister of Transport, Equipment, Tourism and the Sea (inauguration of the Siem Reap airport near the Angkor site), visited Cambodia in August 2006.
